"Congratulations to my favorite band from Wales Godsticks on their upcoming EP. Godsticks is a great, very easy to listen to original band with great melodies and flowing vocals. A talented group of guys who take it real easy on you, a true pleasure to listen to."

Larry Hartke. Hartke Systems.

"My congratulations and respect to Godsticks for their music..a prog/fusion that has deep roots in the best UK prog bands back in the 70s but with a fresh approach that shows Godsticks will add something to the genre history...."

Lorenzo Feliciati. European and UK Bass Day Artist.

The music I am currently involved with is from a partnership called Godsticks and has been described as Alternative Prog Rock. We have recently finished recording our 5 track Ep.

Other forms of music I work at involve improvisation, experimentation and an endless search for unconventional ways to approach and use my bass in a band, song or solo situation. It is the longest road in the world.

This is Steve Roberts our drummer, playing a drum solo with ELP Tribute, Noddy's Puncture.

I have many influences, some are instruments or sounds, there are band and player influences too. Instruments that move me include Saxophone, Tuba, Trombone...anything that growls, parps, screams or distorts!

Band and player influences to name a few, include Cream, Hendrix, Weather Report, The Bad Plus, Billy Sheehan, Jaco, Jeff Berlin, Percy Jones, John Entwistle, Zappa, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Mike Stern, Jack Bruce.

I also enjoy finding out about new and unknown players.

Well hello my friend.

It feels like years since i have been within the walls of BMM.

But rest assured, i have been promoting the name of Bass Musician Magazine worldwide while i have been away, in every possible way. I feel we have the best Bass guitarist's in the World now associated with this magazine, and that is quite an achievement to be accomplished in just a few years eh.

I hope you have read and enjoyed my recent interviews here at the mag with JD DeServio and Billy Sheehan.

The next one up for the October issue is Stu Hamm, which is gonna be quite a read for you all too,I hope.

Don't forget that you can catch up with me at www.myspace.com/biscuitandbass4 to hear some of my music, and also feel free to email me at biscuitandbass3@yahoo.com  with any questions you may have regarding the Magazine or Bass related or Music topics. I am also to be found on facebook as "BISCUIT AND BASS too if you feel inclined.., and remember that ya BISCUIT is always the approachable "Face of Bass" so contact me asap.

You can also join my groups here at BMM,.. Both Spector and Hartke, who i have been endorsed by for the last three years, as an Artist. They are both Wonderful companies, producing for me, the greatest Low end gear in the world.

So Stay close eh..... Peace and Respect, BISCUIT

Hi Jase....cheers mate, good to find this place. Yeah, the Overwater is all I ever wanted and more, I should have bought one years ago. I'm pretty much down to that one bass now, for everything.
