The innovative undercurrent of Hollywood jazz...
JazzWestCoast was the name of a book published in 1955 of photos by photographer, William Claxton, that had a series of companion albums defining the west coast jazz movement of the 40's and 50's. The music, as well as the society of the era was influenced heavily by the melting pot that is Los Angeles.
