Mr. Carroll's fluid playing has not been awarded without hard work as he earned his 900+ certification hours from Atlanta Institute of Music, under the professional instruction of such greats as Alan Barnes, Adam Nitti and Gary Wilkins.
While Myron Bennell prefers to surround himself with the sophisticated sounds of jazz he is versatile enough to play various genres of music such as Gospel, Pop, R&B, Hip Hop, Classic Rock, Contemporary Christian and Reggae. The distinctive suave sounds passionately expressed by Myron Bennell are most influenced by Anthony Jackson, Terrance Palmer, Joel Smith, and Melvin Lee Davis.
Myron’s professional experience includes playing for a variety of artists in studio sessions and/or live performances such as Yolanda Adams, Bobby Brown, Jontae Austin, Byron Cage, Daryl Coley, Frank McComb, Candi Staton, Angela Bofill, Kevin Bond, Phil Davis, Marcus Williams, Aaron Lindsey, Tyron Dixon, John “Lil John” Roberts, Chris Coleman, Dana Hawkins, Dave “Fingers” Haynes, Days Ahead, Palmer Williams, Jr., Kim Holloway, Ava Carey, Kai Alece, Jason Sylvain, John Beal & Beal Street, D Major, Ramona, John Croslan, Noni and Lando.
