Hi My friend... I have been away from my page here at BMM for far too long, but now I have returned with lot's of fresh New stuff for you to check out.

For starters, Bass Musician Mag and I have been working on, amongst other things.... a New column called "BISCUIT'S BASSMENT" which we hope you will find interesting.

I apologise if you have seen this before, but ifn you have not, then please check it out, and feel free to join in, and or pass it on to someone who you may also feel is relevant.
It would be great to have you participate personally if possible, especially as you are already part of the magazine here, and indeed the bass community as a whole, right now.

All the relevant information required to participate is included in the following link here, so just click on the following.............

"BISCUIT" is Working together with BASS MUSICIAN MAGAZINE, to try and help make the world a smaller place for the Low end fraternity and get you noticed Worldwide as much as we can !
Have yourself a Wonderful weekend my friend.
Respect always...... BISCUIT

Well hello my friend.

It feels like years since i have been within the walls of BMM.

But rest assured, i have been promoting the name of Bass Musician Magazine worldwide while i have been away, in every possible way. I feel we have the best Bass guitarist's in the World now associated with this magazine, and that is quite an achievement to be accomplished in just a few years eh.

I hope you have read and enjoyed my recent interviews here at the mag with JD DeServio and Billy Sheehan.

The next one up for the October issue is Stu Hamm, which is gonna be quite a read for you all too,I hope.

Don't forget that you can catch up with me at www.myspace.com/biscuitandbass4 to hear some of my music, and also feel free to email me at biscuitandbass3@yahoo.com  with any questions you may have regarding the Magazine or Bass related or Music topics. I am also to be found on facebook as "BISCUIT AND BASS too if you feel inclined.., and remember that ya BISCUIT is always the approachable "Face of Bass" so contact me asap.

You can also join my groups here at BMM,.. Both Spector and Hartke, who i have been endorsed by for the last three years, as an Artist. They are both Wonderful companies, producing for me, the greatest Low end gear in the world.

So Stay close eh..... Peace and Respect, BISCUIT

Whats going on Biscuit, hows things over the pond?I got the new Harket 810 hydrive and LH1000 head,Love it.What do you use for the front end effects?Im thinking of doing away with my line 6 gear.I think it takes away too much from the true tone? What do you think?

Sounds like you have quite a rig there Osie.....In my opinion, you Can't beat Hartke my friend,in any configuration. With regards to effects,i would certainly not do away with the Line six gear but use it as and when.I think it is always good to have all these things in your armoury.I have a Hartke "BASS ATTACK" pre amp  box, but only really use it as a DI or if someone wants to get that Hartke sound out of another rig.I also use a BOSS GT-6B Bass processor for certain stuff...i.e."OBLIVION" but for non "Biscuit" work,i use my Hartke stack "RAW" because i feel it covers all the basses. As in the army...You may not use the sniper on every deployment, but without him in your team you would be lost eh!
having said that.... I do believe that Hartke rigs give you all the tone you need for most things and it can sometimes be "Spoiled" somewhat,by adding too many extra tones.
I think the bottom line is that it is horses for courses my friend.
I hope that kinda gives you a round up Osie..... Look forward to hooking up with you again soon my friend.
Take care and stay close eh........BISCUIT
