Born in Colorado as a cowpoke, raised in Chicago on a healthy dose of blues, jazz, rock and fusion. Toured to escape book-learnin' and landed in Phoenix. Wandered around in the desert raisin' up a family. Fled the desert for the Republic of Boulder and more music.

Shared the stage in the '70's with Styx, Cheap Trick, REO Speedwagon, Stan Kenton, Maynard Ferguson and Muddy Waters as well as recorded radio and TV jingles in Chicago. Currently working with the Mikel Thomas Group and the DadSun Project with my son, DJ Buddha.

on Bass - Early influences were John Entwistle, Chris Squire, Paul McCartney, Gary Thain and Jaco. Later influences are Victor, Stanley, Jamerson, Steve Bailey and Todd Johnson.

on Music - JS Bach, the Beach Boys, the Who, Miles Davis, Muddy Waters.
